Srinagar/Feb,17: Clashes erupted Saturday morning in Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district 
after a search operation launched by the government forces in the area.
A source said that army’s 13 RR unit, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Syed Mohalla locality of Hajin around 4 am.The operation was launched following “specific inputs” about the presence of 2-3 LeT militants, said an official. However, youth took to streets and pelted the forces with stones to disrupt the operation. The official said the operation was called off after four hours as nothing was found.
