Jammu: Minister of State for Finance, Ajay Nanda Monday informed the Legislative Assembly that no illegal Wine Shop/Bar is operating in the Nowshera Constituency.
Replying to a Question by Ravinder Raina in the legislative assembly, the Minister said the license for retail vends and bar/restaurant is granted in accordance with Rule 30 of the J&K Liquor License and Sale Rules, 1984 after fulfilment of the terms and conditions/criteria required under rules. He further said presently four applicants have applied for grant of Bar Licenses in Nowshera and Sunderbani along with all necessary documents like NoCs from all concerned authorities. They have also deposited the prescribed license fee with the Government, said the Minister.
