Jammu: The Legislative Council Monday constituted a House Committee to examine reply of a Deferred C. Q No 241 of Ali Mohammad Dar seeking information on the total Budget allocation, including under Centrally Sponsored Schemes to the PHE department for the year 2016-17 and 2017-18.
The Question was deferred by the chair after the legislator expressed dissatisfaction over the reply given by the concerned ministry.
The legislator had sought constituency wise details of works executed by PHE during 2016-17 and current financial year in Kashmir division. He had also sought information about the names of contractors/firms along with volume of work and amount released so far, who have executed the works awarded by PHE department in Kashmir Division during 2016-17 and the current financial year.
