Jammu: District Development Commissioner Jammu Kumar Rajeev Ranjan Monday convened a meeting with senior officers to review the physical and financial progress made under District CAPEX Budget, State Sector and Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
Threadbare discussion was held on various issues including progress on uploading of the list of all schemes in Public Financial Management System (PFMS) portal, their progress on DBT mode, physical and financial progress under CSS/State sector/District sector schemes/PMDP, reports regarding various PILs, inter-department co-ordination issues in implementation of schemes/PMDP package, land related issues of various departments, submission of weekly progress report of various schemes to be furnished to the Chief Secretary, impediments in works, requirement of funds, if any, for administrative approved works only with reference to district development board decisions, CM’s commitments and ATRs on DDB decisions.
During the meeting, the DDC also sought status report about the progress of ongoing development works and directed the officers to ensure strict adherence to quality norms and fixed timelines. He further directed the concerned departments to gear up their men and machinery to complete the assigned targets in a time bound manner.
He called for regular monitoring of all the developmental works and greater coordination between executing agencies and stressed on evolving clean and responsive administration to work for welfare of common masses.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, G. L. Sharma, Superintendent Engineers, Executive Engineers of various departments, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Education Officer besides other district officers.
