Jammu: Legislative Assembly Thursday returned two Private Members’ Bill, “The Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (Amendment) Bill, 2016 (L.A. Private Members’ Bill NO.12 of 2016)” and a Bill to provide Free Medical Treatment to the people of BPL in the State (L.A Private Members’ Bill No.14 of 2016).
The bills were moved by MLA Ramnagar RS Pathania and MLA Mendhar Javed Ahmad Rana in the House.
The House rejected the Bills with the voice vote after thorough discussion.
Meanwhile, the MLA Mendhar, Javed Rana withdrew another bill L.A Private Members’ Bill No.15 of 2016 ”to provide Free Electricity to the people of BPL Category and the people residing in Border Areas after a satisfactory reply by the government.
