Jammu: Legislative Assembly Thursday considered two Private Members’ Bills, “To Prohibit the Advertisement, Sale, Purchase, Consumption and Manufacture of Alcoholic Drinks in the State of Jammu and Kashmir, (LA Private Members’ Bill No.13 of 2016)” and “A Bill to ban manufacture, sale, distribution, import, export of Liquor in the State of Jammu and Kashmir (LA Private members’ Bill No.19 of 2016)” moved in the House by the legislators Sheikh Ishfaq Ahmad and G M Saroori respectively. The House allowed the Bills for consideration.
