Jammu: The proceedings in the legislative assembly started with an uproar over killing of policemen in a militant attack at SMHS hospital Srinagar Tuesday this week.
Rraising the issue the members of opposition National Conference and Congress along with PDF Chairman Hakeem Mohammed Yaseen and CPI (M) Secretary M Y Tarigami demanded a statement from the government.
The agitating opposition members wanted to know from the government on its plans to hold Panchayat election of the state in a fearful atmosphere witnessed even in the Kashmir valley’s main referral hospital SMHS hospital Srinagar Tuesday this week.
Alleging that the attack on police party taking a militant to SMHS hospital Sinatra was a big security lapse the opposition members demand statement of clarification from the government. Though parliamentary affairs minister Ab Rehman Veeri was trying to pacify the agitating opposition members but nothing could be heard.
