Pulwama: Suspected militants attacked an army camp in Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday night. However, there was no report of any casualties.
Sources said that militants fired a rifle grenade at the camp. The army personnel retaliated by firing several shots, leading to a brief exchange of fire.
Soon after the incident the forces cordoned off the whole area, they said.
“A grenade was lobbed on company Headquarter of 50 RR and they retaliated. There was no report of any damage,” reports quoted SSP Pulwama Choudhary Aslam as having said.
