Jammu, Feb 03: Following an explanation from the opposition National Conference MLA Ali Mohammad Sagar on the arrangements for panchayat polls and the purpose of all party meeting in the aftermath of arrangements, the parliamentary affairs minister Abdul Rahman Veeri here on Saturday told the legislative assembly that chief minister is chairing an all party meeting to decide the future course of panchayat polls and a final call on the issue will be taken by the state cabinet later.
The minister was replying to a question from National Conference MLA Ali Mohammad Sagar in which he questioned the purpose holding an all party meeting when the government has taken decisions even on the deployment of forces for the panchayat polls reported by news papers.
