HP, UNA: J&K U-19 Football Team played 2nd Match at HP, UNA Khad Football Stadium on Wed, J&K XI thrashed Daman & Diu Football Team by three goals to Zero in a one sided encounter. The J&K team dominated the play right from start of the match and gave no chances to helpless defenders of the Daman & Diu. Adeel Tariq opened the account for the J&K team in just 5th minute of the play and doubled the lead in 20th minutes later. The first half ended with J&K team leading 2-0.
The second half was no different as J&K players kept attacking the goal post of the Opposite team & In 40th minute of the play Subail manzoor made it 3-0 in favour of the J&K Team. Daman & Diu players tried their best to stop the J&K Team , but they lacked the coordination and ultimately had to settle for 3-0. J&K Team missed 4-5 open net cahnaces.
The overall performance of the players too has been exceptional for the J&K Team and riding on that they finished as the toppers in the Pool. The next game aginst Manipur on 2-2-2018. First match getting a walkover as the Opposite team Lakshdweep failed to report in the Championship.
