Govt orders transfers, postings in State admin

Srinagar: Government on Tuesday ordered several transfers and posting in various departments. In an order issued through General Administration Department (GAD) the government said that “in the interest of administration, the following transfers and postings are hereby ordered with immediate effect.”
Manisha Sarin, KAS, Joint Director, Information, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department, vice Naresh Kumar, the GAD order said.
It said Naresh Kumar, KAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department, is transferred and posted as Joint Director, Information, Jammu, vice Manisha Sarin.
“Zahoor Ahmad Mir, KAS, Joint Director, Information, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Executive Director, Rehabilitation Council, Social Welfare Department, relieving Rifat Arif, KAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department of the additional charge of the post. Sajid Yehaya Naqash, KAS, awaiting orders of posting in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, is posted as Joint Director, Information (Hqr) v the Directorate of Information, J&K, upon retirement on superannuation of Abdul Majid Zargar on January 1, 2018,” the order added.
