Jammu: Mrs. Usha Vohra, First Lady, attended “Ladies Cultural Programme”organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports (YSS) as part of Republic Day Celebrations at Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, here in Saturday afternoon.
Lauding the cultural programme, Mrs Vohra highly appreciated the exuberance of the teachers and students of the different educational institutions and representatives of Women’s Welfare Organisations who participated in the programme. She complimented the YSS Department for the quality of the programme, which is getting better with each passing year, and observed that the hardwork put in by the participants was reflected in their scintillating performances. Vohra presented awards and mementos to all the participants.
Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad, Director YSS, presented the Welcome Address and Chanchal Kour, District Youth Services and Sports Officer,presented a Vote of Thanks on the occasion.
Bharti Vaid, Deepa Kotwal, Sapna Aggarwal, Roop Avtar Kour, were among the prominent guests who attended the programme.
