Jammu: Ruling Peoples Democratic Party MLA from Rajouri, Chowdhary Qamar Hussain Saturday termed as “incorrect” the decision of handing over the case of “rape” and murder of Kathua girl to Crime Branch.
Saying that the incident had pained him, Hussain said that handing over the case to Crime Branch didn’t seem right. “Crime Branch doesn’t seem to handle it well,” he claimed.
He said that the case should have been handled by the earlier SIT formed by local police and that the investigation should have been expedited.
Hussain also said that those accused by the family of the eight-year-old girl should be questioned by the police.
