Jammu: Lt. Gen. J.S. Sandhu, GOC 15 Corps, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here Saturday and briefed him about security management situation in the Valley consequent to stringent enforcement of the counter-infiltration grid along the LoC. Governor appreciated the Army’s strong support to the Security Forces in carrying out counter-terrorism operation in the Valley.
Lt. Genl. Sandhu is shortly moving to Army Hqrs on the completion of his extended tenure as GOC XV Corps. Governor bade farewell to the Corps Commander and wished him a very successful tenure ahead.
