Jammu/Jan,20: The proceeding of the legislative assembly here on Saturday
started with the opposition creating an uproar over the border
killings and finally staging a walk out amid slogans against the state
government, central government and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Shouting slogans “56 inch ka sena kahan gaya’ , ” Ek key badlay Das
Sar kee batein karnay wala Modi Kahan hai” the Congress members
alleged that Modi went to Lahore uninvited and the response was attack
at Pathankote. Talking to reporters outside the assembly the Congress
legislature party leader Rigzin Jora said ” Modi went to Lahore to
meet nawaz Sharif the then Pakistan Prime Minister two years back and
the response was Pathankote attack. Modi government brought ISI team
for joint investigation and events that followed exposed the claims of
the central government on surgical strikes”.
Talking to reporters senior National Conference leader and sitting MLA
Ali Mohammad Sagar said ” The Minister of State in Prime Minister’s
office has accused the opposition of remaining silent but he does not
knowing that opposition has been crying over the border killings for
the last two days,Modi government promised “ached din” but darker days
are snatching every sort of freedom and peace from the people. The
government does not respond well to the escalating situation on
borders”

Responding to the opposition charges Minister for Disaster Management,
Relief and Rehabilitation Javed Mustafa Mir told reporters ” we will
give all the details about the deaths and damage to property in the
house. We won’t hide anything and will take appropriate measures for
providing succour and relief to the border populations hit by the
cross LoC shelling”
