Srinagar:Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Chief Muhammad Yasin Malik was detained by police after he carried out a march from Maisuma Locality in Kashmir capital Srinagar.
The protest was organized by JKLF against the recent what they termed as ‘anti-Kashmir’ remarks and the NIA Charge Sheet against Kashmiri separatist leaders.
A large number of people participated in the march. They were carrying placards and banners.
As Malik tried to move towards city centre, a large number of police personnel blocked the roads and detained JKLF Chairman. He along with some of the activists were bundled into the vehicle and detained at nearby police station.
