Srinagar: The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) celebrated its 6th Annual Raising Day at its Provincial Headquarters here Friday.
The NDRF team deployed with SDRF at Srinagar also joined the function and celebrated Annual Raising Day of NDRF which falls on 19th January.
A March Past was also held by the contingents of SDRF and NDRF. B.A. Sofi, Commandant SDRF Kashmir took salute on March Past. In his address, the Commandant highlighted work done by SDRF during the year 2017 which include recent Rescue/ Search Operation at Sadhna Top. Besides, the peaceful conduct of Amar NathJi Yatra-2017, rescue activities and awareness programs.
A Bara Khana was also organized for officers as well as Jawans of the SDRF on the occasion of Raising Day.
