Shopian: A civilian who was injured during a recent encounter in South Kashmir’s Shopian district succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday morning.
The encounter between militants and Government Forces had taken place at Batmuran Shopian on December 19 last month and during post encounter clashes a couple of civilians had suffered injuries.
Muhammad Ayoub Mir, a resident of Molu Chitragam was one among them who had suffered bullet injury in his head.
Family sources confirmed his death saying that Mir had grievous injuries and could not recuperate.
