B’pora:In order to acquaint progressive farmers of District Bandipora with up-to-date and latest Technology in Agriculture Sector, a group of 25 farmers was flagged off by District Development Commissioner Bandipora, Sajjad Hussain, here Tuesday for visiting outside state to various centers of excellence in Northern India.
The tour of Farmers is being organized under Centrally Sponsored – Scheme National Mission on Agriculture Extension and Technology (NMAET) presently under implementation in the district.
The farmers on tour shall be showcased improvements in the field of Agriculture and Allied Sectors viz. Dairying, Poultry, Apiculture and Mushroom cultivation. The farmers on visit shall in turn share their experience gained during the touring days with the farming fraternity in their localities.
