Srinagar: Militants on Friday night attacked a police post in south Kashmir’s Shopian district. However, there was no immediate report of any casualties.
“Militants fired upon police post Keegam, to which police retaliated. The militants escaped from the spot after a brief exchange of fire,” said a police officer.
He said that the area was cordoned off to nab the militants.
