Srinagar: Minister for Education, Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari congratulated students who received their Class XII examination results on Thursday.
Appreciating the officers of the Education Department for their commendable performances, he said the declaration of result in a short period of time and brilliant success of the students in the recent 12th class result is due to the collective efforts of the different sections of the Department.
Secretary Education Farooq Ahmad Shah has also congratulated the successful students and appreciated the teachers and the Heads of the Institutions. While appreciating the students and teachers; he said strict action will be taken against those teachers whose results are unsatisfactory.
Minister for Education, Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari, Secretary Education, Farooq Ahmad Shah and Director School Education, Kashmir Dr G.N Itoo congratulated both the students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Baramulla Durdana Masoodi (ARTS STREAM) and Iqra Rashid (HOME SCIENCE) of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kothibagh for being among the toppers in 12th class Examination.
This year in 12th class Examination, a total of 55163 students had appeared out of which number of Girl students were 29331 and number of Boy students were 25832. The pass percentage of Girls was 64% and the pass percentage of Boy students was 59%. The overall pass percentage of the students remained 61%.
