Srinagar/Jan,11:Parliament attack case convict Afzal Guru’s son Galib Afzal Guru has secured distinction in 12th class examination, the results of which were declared by Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Thursday.
Galib has secured distinction in science stream. He had secured distinction in his class tenth examination as well.
As per BOSE figures, the overall pass percentage is 61.44. The pass percentage of boys is 58.92 percent and that of girls is 64.31.
As many as 55163 students had appeared in the examination. “33893 students have qualified the exam,” said an official.
Afzal Guru was hanged and secretly buried in New Delhi’s Tihar jail on February 9, 2013.
