Jammu: Chairman, J&K Legislative Council Haji Anayat Ali moved obituary reference in the Upper House on the sad demise of Ex-MLA Akhtar Nizami who passed away recently.
Recording the services of late leader, the Chairman said Nizami was a seasoned parliamentarian. The late leader always fought for public causes and worked for the welfare of people.
Later, the House observed two minutes silence to pay homage to the departed soul.
