Srinagar: Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Development Institute Srinagar Monday kick-started a six-week entrepreneurship skill development program.
The program, which will conclude on February 16, is organized in collaboration with Women Empowerment and Micro Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Directorate of extension SKUAST-K
Addressing the participants, Saheel Alaqband, Assistant Director MSME said the aim of the program is to facilitate the unemployed youth to acquire and keep themselves abreast with the latest skills.
Deputy CEO KVIB ensured full support to the participants.
Vice Chancellor SKUAST-K Professor Nazir Ahmad in his inaugural address, appreciated the role played by Directorate of extension in the transfer of technologies to the participants and also gave valuable guidance to the participants. Director Extension Prof Mushtaq Ahmad spoke at length about the requisite inputs about the program and expressed confidence that this will act as a catalyst in creating income and job avenues among the unemployed educated youth.
