Ang: A Public Negotiation Committee (PNC) meeting was Thursday held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Mohammad Younis Malik .
The committee cleared and sanctioned 6 road projects under PMGSY in Bijbehara, Kokernag constituencies. The road projects include Sirhama, Mehand, Sultanpora, Banderpora, Mirgund, Chandpora, Nanil and Poru-Gohihard road being constructed/upgraded under PMGSY.
The committee sanctioned land acquisition costs of Rs.7 lacs per Kanal at Poru-Gohihard Rs.8.70 lacs per Kanal at Sirhama, Rs.8.50 lacs per Kanal at Mehand, Rs.10.50 lacs per Kanal at Sultanpora, 10.10 lacs per Kanal for the villages of Mirgund, Banderpora, Chandpora and Rs.10 lacs per Kanal at village Nanil.
Landowners were also called in the meeting. The land acquisition in respect of these 06 revenue villages was considered and agreed through private negotiation committee to sell their land to the government for construction of various developmental projects.
Among others, present in the meeting, including Syed Shabir Ahmad ACR Anantnag, Exen, R&B Vailoo, Exen PMGSY, Tehsildar Kokernag, Bijbehara, Mattan, Sirgufwara and other revenue officers.
