Power shutdown in Jmu parts

Jammu: To execute work of erection of material on 4 Pole structure under the 33 KV Line (Re-alignment work due to approach road for AIIMS Vijaypur), the shutdown of 33 KV Vijaypur Lines is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Vijaypur, Ramgarh and its adjoining areas fed from 33 KV Vijaypur Line emanating from 132/33 KV Grid Station BB-I shall remain affected on January 4 from 10 am to 2 pm.

Meanwhile, to carry out work for shifting of 11 KV Miran Sahib Feeder, the shutdown of 33 KV Gadigarh and 11 KV Miran Sahib Line is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Airport, Airforce, Upper & Lower Gadigarh, Brij Nagar, Indira Nagar, Floriculture Park Indira Nagar, Dharap, Sher Garh and part of Chatha area fed from 33 KV Gadigarh Line emanating from 132/33 KV Grid Station Miran Sahib shall remain affected on January 4 from 7 am to 9 am.

Likewise, the power supply to Miran Sahib, Krishna Nagar and Prem Nagar fed from 11 KV Miran Sahib Feeder shall remain affected on January 4 from 7 am to 9 am.

However, in order to carry out the work of branch cutting and routine maintenance, the shutdown of 33 KV BB-III Lines and Old Kartholi Line is also being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Industrial Area of Bari Brahmana being fed from 33 KV BB-III line emanating from 132/33 KV Grid Station BB-II shall remain affected on January 7 from 9 am to 2 pm.

Likewise, the power supply to Smailpur, Mandal, Raya and its adjoining areas being fed from 33 KV Old Kartholi line emanating from 132/33 KV Grid Station BB-I shall remain affected on January 7 from 9 am to 2 pm.

As per Superintending Engineer EM&RE Circle Kathua, to carry out the work for reconductoring of 11 KV City and Bhagthali Feeder, the shutdown of 11 KV Bhagthali, City and K-VI Feeder is allowed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Indira Colony, Shahidi Chowk, Krishna Colony and Bhagthali shall remain affected on January 4 from 10 am to 3 pm.

Similarly, to carry out the work for reconductoring of 11 KV HT Changran Rural Feeder, the power supply to Changran, Chak Desa, Manke Talab, Lower Shiva Nagar, Upper Shiva Nagar and Housing Colony shall remain affected on January 6 from 10 am to 3 pm.
