Poonch: Deputy Commissioner, Tariq Ahmad Zargar convened a meeting to chalk out strategy for the engagement of Rehbar -e -Khail (REKs) in the district, here Tuesday.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director planning, District Youth Services and Sports Officer besides Zonal Physical Education Officers (ZPEOs).
While discussing the modalities regarding recruitment process, the DDC informed that government has launched policy for engagement of Rehbar-e- Khel on the same pattern of Rehbar -e -Taleem and Rehbar- e -Sehat and in this connection Youth Services and Sports Department will act as Nodal Department.
It was further informed that candidates possessing qualification of BPE, BPED; or MPED will be selected with initial remuneration of Rs 3000 per month for three years which will be subsequently raised to Rs 4000 from fourth year to seventh year.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said 158 posts will be advertised for inviting applications from all sports zones and the recruitment committee will comprise of District Youth Services and Sports Officer as Member Secretary, District Employment & Counselling Officer and all ZPEOs as members of recruitment process.
