DDC approves loan for beneficiaries under DIC, KVIB

Reasi: District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) on Friday held a meeting under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Prasanna Ramaswamy G and approved 190 loan cases of District Industrial Center and KVIB.

The meeting was attended by GM DIC Anil Kumar Thakur, Director RSETI Mukesh Bansal, District Officer SC, ST, OBC Sat Pal, District Officer KVIB Pawan Kumar Gupta, In-charge Mohammad Qasim, Lead District Manager (LDM) and other concerned officers, officials and the beneficiaries.

A total of 190 cases of DIC and KVIB were placed before the committee and after interviewing the beneficiaries all cases comprising 97 cases of DIC and 93 cases of KVIB were approved involving an amount of Rs. 9.32 crore.

The District Industrial Center took out 5 agro based units, 2 of forest waste, 9 units of engineering and non-conventional energy, 19 of textile industry, 60 units of service industry and one mineral based unit.

Speaking on the occasion, DDC asked the officers to achieve the targets fixed under various departments. However, bankers were stressed for disbursing the loans to the beneficiaries in shortest possible time so that they start their business and get employment.
