Member, Rajya Sabha, Fayaz Mir calls on CM

Jammu: Member, Rajya Sabha, Fayaz Ahmad Mir Wednesday called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here and brought several developmental issues of Kupwara district into her focus.
Mir thanked the Chief Minister for getting many of the pending works in the district started during her recent two-day public outreach program. He also thanked her for upgradation of power distribution system at Kralpora and Langate besides taking up other developmental works in the district.
The MP demanded filling up of vacant positions in the district administration at the earliest to facilitate the local people. He specifically sought filling up of posts of ADDC, ADC, Program Officer, ICDS, SDMs, General Manager, DIC and other posts which have become vacant of late.
The Chief Minister assured the MP to look into the demands put forth in a time bound manner.
