Jammu:One-day training program on “Digitization of updated LRUR (Updated NPR record)” was organised by Directorate of Census Operations (DCO), Sub-Office, Registrar General of India in collaboration with District Administration at DC Office Jammu.
At the outset of the training, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Kanta Devi briefed the trainees regarding the purpose and its proper implementation in their respective districts. The training program was conducted under the overall supervision of District Statistics & Evaluation Officer Kamal Kumar Sharma.
In the training, two officials from each district of Jammu Division participated and were trained as Master Trainers for imparting further training to more users of their respective Districts. Moreover, emphasis was given on quality check procedure to ensure quality of data.
Deepak Kumar Gupta, DD, Office of Registrar General of India, Puneet Mehrotra and Bhawani Singh Meena, ADs, Directorate of Census Operations, J&K, Jammu, imparted the training to the master trainees.
