Point of sale machine to be introduced in Poonch soon: Dir FCS&CA

Poonch: Director Food, Civil, Supplies & Consumer Affair,  R.A.Inqlabi  in presence of DDC Poonch Tariq Ahmad Zargar reviewed the functioning and stock position of ration in the district in a meeting held here at Poonch. here Monday.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Abdul Hamied, AD FCS& CA Ranjit Singh Chib, District Social Welfare Officer,  TSOs, Wardens of Gujjar & Backwaral hostel, Pahari Hostel girls, Pahari Hostel boys, besides ration dealers of the district.

In the meeting directions were given to the officials of FCS&CA  for taking immediate steps for the rectification and inclusion or exclusion of rationees in  NPHH and PHH strictly according to the guide lines and economic positions of rationees. In this connection it was revealed that Gazetted government employees are to be kept in exclusion category , whereas non-gazetted or others employees be kept in non priority household (NPHH) category  and concerned functionaries were directed to plug loopholes if any .

Aadhar linking of rationees in the district was also reviewed and the concerned were directed for its timely completion.

District Social Welfare Officer was directed to submit details regarding the total enrolments of students in Welfare homes  in the district so that appropriate steps can be taken for providing ration to them.

On the occasion, overall allocation, distribution and stock position of ration in the district was reviewed  especially in snow bound areas of the district.

He informed that government will review the proposal of providing ration under MMSFES on the pattern of snow bound areas of Dachan and warwan areas of Chenab  valley. He further informed that point of sale machine  to be introduced soon in the district for bringing transparency in the system.

DDC T.A.Zargar directed for early rectification or categorization of the rationees strictly as per their socio economic positions within no time.

KVIB organizes distt level awareness camp on PMEGP

Udhampur: District Development Commissioner, Ravinder Kumar inaugurated an awareness camp held under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) at ITI, here Monday.

Secretary KVIB, Rashid Ahmad Qadri was also present on the occasion.

In his address , the   DDC said the camp would help the outgoing batch to make a right choice in selecting their vocation for  establishing unit. He said directions have been issued to the banks for processing the cases for sanction under PMEGP on fast track basis.

Secretary KVIB informed that the Board has sanctioned 34 cases involving a margin money of Rs. 76.79 lakh  in the District in the current year and 1559 cases in the state  involving a Margin Money of Rs. 2729.61 lakh till date. He further informed that Ministry of MSME, Government of India has enhanced the targets of the state by 250% as the state has achieved its prior set target by August 2017.

During the program, the students were given a detailed account of the several schemes being implemented by   KVIB for establishment of income generating units.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer, KVIB Jammu Division , Santosh Saraf District Officer KVIB Tilak Raj, Project Manager DIC, Principal ITI college, Bankers, NGOs, PMEGP entrepreneurs and prominent citizens besides students of ITI were present in the camp.
