Before talking to elected representatives, let New Delhi explain how much it has disgraced them so far: Er Rasheed

Srinagar: Rejecting magisterial probe in Thandipora youth, Asif’s killing at the hands of Army, AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has said that when these probes have yielded nothing in the past, how it could yield any result this time.
While addressing a function at Langate Monday Rasheed said, “Let Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti or anybody else show a single instance when the magisterial probe has yielded anything or fixed the responsibility on anyone in hundreds of such incidents and probes since 1989.”
“The Magisterial enquiry has also lost the relevance after Army tried to justify the killing of Asif by claiming that he was caught in the cross fire between militants and forces. Though nobody raises fingers on the wisdom of the deputy commissioners and others who have been conducting these enquires from time to time but in a situation when they have been left at the mercy of security forces, how they can dare to even dream of doing justice.”
He said that the only job Deputy Commissioners have been left to do, is to slap PSA’s on innocents and there can be hardly an instance when a Deputy Commissioner would have dared to reject police’s dossier.
“Even these Magistrates have been forced to slap PSA after PSA on those who have never come out of Jails and police lockups since decades. The Deputy Commissioners have become like OGW’s of SHO’s and conducting enquires through them is nothing but shielding the killers, buying time and misleading the world. If the deputy commissioners and other bureaucrats are dependent on their security and movement on the men in uniform, one can understand their worth and compulsions.”
Er. Rasheed reminded Mehbooba Mufti of her claims having no faith on these probes when she was in the opposition and said that now her following footprints of Omer Abdullah by ordering these fake probes will yield nothing but just erode the credibility of state institutions further.
Er. Rasheed added that if Mehbooba means business she must ensure that those involved in cold blooded murder of Asif are put behind the bars and then o only one can believe in the assurances given by the state government and the Army.
