Shopian/Dec,19: A woman was killed after a bullet hit her during clashes near gunfight site in Batmurran village of Shopian district in south Kashmir on Tuesday.
Reports said that Beauty Jan (24), wife of Manzoor Ahmad, was hit by a bullet in her abdomen during clashes. She was rushed to a hospital but died on the way.At least eight protesters were injured in the clashes that erupted today morning after forces launched a search operation to look for third militant believed to be hiding in the debris of the blasted house.
Earlier, two militants were killed in the overnight gunfight with government forces that began last evening after army and police launched an operation on a tip-off.
