Free Mega Multi Specialty Health Check-up Camp held at Jagti Jmu

Jammu:  Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma Saturday said the state and central government is committed to provide better medical facilities to the people and for the purpose various health institutions have been equipped with latest healthcare equipments.

He was speaking after inaugurating two day Mega Multi Specialty Health check-up camp (MMSHC) at Jagti  Nagrota, here Saturday.

MLA Nagrota Davinder Singh Rana,  MLA Sukhnandan Choudhary, MLC Ashok Khajuria, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Mandeep K Bhandari, Secretary  Information Department, Dr. Abdul Rashid, former Minister Ghulam Hussain Mir, former DGP  Kuldeep Khoda, IGP State Crime Branch J&K Jammu Alok Puri, IGP Jammu Dr SD Singh Jamwal, former Director Health Dr. Jasbir Singh, former Administrator GMC Jammu Rakesh Khajuria beside other senior officers of Health and civil administration were present on this occasion.

During the 2 days Mega Multi Specialty Health Check-up Camp (MMSHC),  free Medicare facilities will be provided  to the residents of Jagti Township Nagrota besides all the laboratory investigations include blood pressure, ECG, blood sugar, Lipid profile, Kidney Functioning Test, LFT, Echo Cardiology will be done at the camp.

MP said the Vishwa Kashmiri Pandit Samaj is playing vital role in mitigating the genuine problems of the Jagti Township residents. He further exhorted upon the need for organizing more free medical camps throughout the state especially at rural and remote areas so that people could avail specialized medical consultancy at their doorsteps.

He along with legislators, Secretary Information Dr. Abdul Rashid and team of Doctors visited the Camp to take stock of the facilities being provided to the patients and interacted with the people thereby enquiring about their health issues and treatment being provided to them.
