Jammu: Speaker, Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta Friday inaugurated two-week long training program for the JK’s legislators to enable them perform their functions efficiently under the e- Assembly project.
The training, being imparted to the members by the Information Technology (IT) Department, would educate the participants regarding the usage of e-Assembly Application.
Elaborating on the objectives and benefits of launching this digitized system of conducting proceedings of the Assembly, the Speaker said the application would provide all the critical information regarding discussions and proceedings in the Member’s mobile device. Under this new system, the Legislators would be able to file their queries and replies online thus making an end to paper work besides saving their precious time.
Among others, Legislators, Secretary Assembly, Trainers besides senior officers and officials of the Assembly Secretariat were present on the occasion.
