Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Police Chief Dr Shesh Paul Ved has said that it is a positive signal that parents are calling their children back to their home.
Ved was speaking at a function organized to observe Human Rights Day here in Kashmir capital Srinagar.
“Our intention is not to kill or hurt someone; we want youth to shun path of violence. Parents are calling their children back which is very good,” he said.
Islamic clerics stage protest against US decision to recognize Juresalem as Israeli capital
Srinagar:Scores of Islamic clerics Monday staged a protest against Trump’s move to declare Jerusalem as the capital of Zionist state of Israel.
The protest was organized by Global Islamic Research Foundation.
Scores of clerics assembled here in Press Enclave Srinagar to express resentment over the US decision.
The Imams of different Masjids of Srinagar city participated in the protest and raised their voice against the US Move.
President Global Islamic research Moulana Hilal Ahmed Nadvi while talking to reporters said that their protests will continue till US does not revoke its decision. He said that hegemony of US is being challenged by the world and soon this country that is being led by a Muslim haters will feel hate.
He urged upon Muslim bodies to get united and raise voice against this biased and anti-Muslim US decision.
