Ang: Unknown persons on Thursday lobbed a grenade at Police Post Mir Bazar in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district. Sources said that the grenade exploded with a bang. However, there was no immediate report of any casualties.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Kulgam Shridhar Patel told Greater Kashmir that they were ascertaining the cause of the blast.
He said that the blast occured between police post and the main market. “Searches have been launched in the area,” he said.
