Srinagar/Dec.7: A famous shrine at Nowrozbaba village in Khag area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district was completely damaged in a mysterious fire incident .
Locals said on hearing about the fire at the revered shrine during Thursday-Friday intervening night they rushed to the spot.“The fire had broken out in the shrine shortly after midnight. Announcements were being made over the public address system of the mosque and people tried their best to douse the flames,” said a local. He said the fire and emergency vehicles couldn’t reach at the spot in time because of steep topography of the area, located in the area.
