Srinagar: In order to engage the young minds during the winter vacations, the Army has organised Badminton Premier League for the school children of Gutlibagh, Wussan. The competition is being organised in Boys Secondary School, Wayil as an Inter School Competition in which four schools are participating. The matches will be played on a knockout basis for both boys and girls under two age groups. The players were extremely excited to play a different game other than more popular volleyball and cricket. The enthusiasm of girls needs a special mention who took this sporting event as an opportunity to both enjoy as well as prove that they are no lesser than their male counterparts. The efforts by the Army to engage the young minds of the Valley by organising this sporting event were well appreciated by the School faculty, students and their parents.
