Spl career counseling prog by DLR at Kashmir University on Dec 7

Srinagar: The Department of Libraries and Research is organizing a special Career Counseling programs for class 12th students at Convocation Hall, University of Kashmir here today (Thursday).

According to Mukhtar-ul-Aziz, Director Libraries, there will be two sessions of counseling. He said the forenoon session beginning at 10.30 am will be open to both the students and the parents while the afternoon session shall be open to the students intending to appear for forthcoming NEET and JEE.

Mukhtar-ul-Aziz said the students and the parents who couldn’t register online for the Counselling and are keen to join the same can get registered on-the-spot. He said free transport facility for the students to ferry them to the Kashmir University campus would be available outside Mechanical Parking, Lal Chowk upto 9.30 am tomorrow.

The Director Libraries said the counseling will be conducted by IIT toppers including Prateek Bhargav, CEO Mindler, PrikshitDanda, a leading Professional Career Counselor in the country trained from Harvard University, SupriyaDhanda, Anoop Panday, CEO Plances) and Ranjit Gakaray, Professional Counselor for IIT and Medical Aspirants.

“The students and the parents will be introduced to latest job-oriented and rewarding courses available in various colleges. They will be also counseled about the institutions, procedure for admission and other related issues while planning for future studies,” he said and added that the unique career counseling program is being organized by the Directorate of Libraries and Research in collaboration with Indian Public Library Movement (IPLM), Career Counseling Cell, University of Kashmir, Mindler Delhi and Plancess Mumbai.
