He further disclosed that the POS machines have been provided free of cost to the retailers through the sensitization/training programs organized in various districts of the State. The retailers who have not received such POS machines can approach to the nearest Agriculture Office or representative of the Fertilizer Companies. He added that farmers will have to bring Voter ID Cards or KCC at the time of purchase of fertilizers from the retailer so that the benefit of subsidy goes to the rightfull claimant.

He further elaborated that the sale of fertilizers shall not be allowed without the usage of POS machines and making the transactions on the real time basis to ensure transparency and to prevent pilferage of any kind.
