Srinagar: A policeman injured in a road accident on Ganderbal-Kangan road a day before passed away Wednesday.An official said that Mohd Aslam Pakhtoon (42), posted as personal security officer (PSO) to senior National Conference leader, was critically injured after his personal car skidded off the road and turned turtle near old power house canal in Ganderbal. Pakhtoon (belt number 246 of 14 BN IRP) was heading towards duty when the mishap happened a day before, said the official.
He was rushed to SKIMS Soura where he succumbed Wednesday.
Reports said that Sagar reached at his residence at Wani-arm Wangat Kangan to offer condolences and attended his funeral.
