Lahore: Pakistan has been conducting back channel diplomacy with the arch-rival India in a bid to resolve the issues and release tensions through talks, claimed Pakistan National Security Advisor.
According to a report in Pakistan Saturday, General (retd.) Nasir Janjua revealed this during a media interaction in Lahore.
Janjua said India has to eventually come on the table for talks to protect its own interests. “Pakistan is ready to hold talks with India on Kashmir and other basic issues,” the report quoted Janjua as saying.
He also said that India had committed “unprecedented human rights violations” in Kashmir Valley.
