Budgam: A complete shutdown was observed in Pakharpora and it’s adjoining areas in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district for the second consecutive day to mourn the killings of militants.
Five militants were killed in a fierce gun fight between Government Forces and trapped militants at Futlipora Pakharpora village on Wednesday morning.
Reports said all the shops and business establishments remained shut while transport also remained off the roads.
Besides Pakharpora, shutdown was also observed in Thokarpora, Kamrazipora, Dalpora and other areas.
Meanwhile, mourners continued to flock at the residence of local slain militant Shabir Ahmed expressing sympathies with the bereaved family. (CNS)
