Srinagar: In order to ensure punctuality of employees and improve work culture, the Director Agriculture Kashmir, Syed Altaf Ajaz Andrabi along with Chief Agriculture Officer Budgam today conducted a surprise visit to Agriculture office zone Khanda to inspect attendance of employees there.
During the visit, the said office was found locked and all the officers and officials were found absent from their duties. All the absentees were placed under suspension with immediate effect and enquiry was also ordered for unauthorised absence from duties.
Taking strict notice of the absenteeism, the Director directed all the concerned officers and officials working in the department to strictly adhere to the office timings, so that people do not face hardships.
