Srinagar/Nov,30: Police on Thursday said that they have recovered bodies of three militants and as many AK-47 rifles from the site of a gunfight in Futlipora village of Pakharpora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
News agency GNS quoting SSP Budgam Tejinder Singh reported that so far three militant bodies have been recovered.
Among them, one has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Thokar, Singh was quoted as saying.
He said searches are in progress to trace the body of fourth militant believed to have been killed in the gunfight.
Earlier, army’s Defense spokesperson Col. Rajesh Kalia said that four militants have been killed in the operation.
