Srinagar/Nov,25: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday condemned the killing of Territorial Army soldier in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, saying “such acts will not weaken the resolve to establish peace and normalcy in Kashmir.”
“Strongly condemn the brutal killing of Irfan Ahmed, a brave Territorial Army soldier at Shopian. Such heinous acts will not weaken our resolve to establish peace and normalcy in the valley,” Mehbooba wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, a bullet- riddled body of a Territorial Army soldier was recovered in Shopian district.
The slain soldier was identified as Irfan Dar s/o Ghulam Mohd Dar R/o Sanzan village, and was posted in Bandipora’s Gurez area.
