Kishtwar: District Development Commissioner Angrez Singh Rana Thursday flagged off a group of farmers and Technical Field Staff of horticulture department on five days training tour organized under ATMA.
The tour has been organized with an aim to acquaint the farmers with the latest know how in the field of Horticulture to enhance production and productivity of orchards in district.
Chief Horticulture Officer S K Gupta and other officers of the department were present on the occasion.
During the tour the farmers and field staffs will visit KVK Bhaderwah, RHRS Bhaderwah, canning centre Bhaderwah, advance Centre for Horticulture Development Govindpura Ramban and Fruit Plant nursery Batote and Khellani Doda where they will get Training related to Horticulture practices being adopted and implemented on modern scientific line at these stations.
