Tral:A complete spontaneous shutdown is being observed Wednesday on the second consecutive day in Tral township of Pulwama district against the killing of Hizb militant Adil Chopan.
All shops, business establishments, and private offices remained closed in the town while public transport was off the roads.
On Monday, Adil Rashid Chopan, a Hizb militant was killed in a gunfight with government forces in Seer village of Tral.
An eyewitness said that scores of people from different areas reached at the slain militant’s home at Lurow and offered ‘Fateha’ (prayers) for him.
Many religious scholars, pro-freedom leaders and locals thronged Adil’s residence to express sympathy and solidarity with his family.
Meanwhile, authorities restored mobile internet service in Tral on Wednesday.
