Srinagar/Nov,22: An Automated Teller Machine (ATM) of Jammu and Kashmir Bank (JKB) was stolen in the south Kashmir district of Shopian during the intervening night of November 21 and 22, official sources said.
They said unidentified people entered the ATM kiosk installed at District Hospital Shopian and took away the machine carrying cash. It was not immediately clear as to how much cash was in the ATM, they said, adding that a massive hunt has been launched to nab them.
Crores of rupees have been looted by unidentified people from banks and ATMs in South Kashmir during the past one year.
